Spirit Art Sample     Spirit Art Sample

These are some examples of Spirit Art done by individuals who attended my class.

The ‘Spirit Art Painting’ on ther left was done by my mother and she was thrilled to see that it was an underwater scene with fish swimming around and a sea horse is there also. (she put this intent during the meditation time). The main animal totem of hers that came through was the Hippopotamus… which is considered a ‘river horse’ and when a hippopotamus appears as a power animal that person should do some self-examination and it is time to immerse oneself more powerfully, more fully, into the spiritual, artistic, or healing environments.

Learning to control the powerful creative energies will be part of what she must learn with this animal totem. Its association with water is its most symbolic aspect. Water is the ancient realm of birth, power, creation, imagination, healing, and artistic sensibilities. It is the place of sacred baptism, a rite involving water and the awakening of our higher sensibilities.

I obtain my information from Ted Andrews' books “Animal Speaks and Animal Wise”, but I always encourage everyone who receives information on their personal power animals or Spirit Guides to connect with them and sense what they are teaching you. The Ted Andrews books are a good guideline to use, when you are not familiar on how to connect on your own. My mother was looking at her painting a couple of days after the class and she called me on the phone and wanted to know if the animal could change in the painting, because now instead of the Hippo she was seeing a Tiger. I said that you would be able to start to see many images in the painting if you study it and to learn to let it ‘talk’ to you. I also told her that when I came to visit later that day that I would look and see what was happening.

If you look at the photo and you find the hippo…look up higher in the painting and the Tiger comes through…The Tiger is one of the few ‘cats’ that actually enjoys swimming and this gives them ties to all the energies and mystical qualities so often associated with the element of water. I told her that when the hippo is prominent then work with it and when the Tiger comes through work with the power of the Tiger for the Tiger is adventurous, powerful and passionate. This is a perfect example of how a 2 hour class on Spirit Art and painting your own picture can help you ignite that inner spark of potential through creating and understanding your own spirit energy forces.

The photo on the right is from another students of the Spirit Art Class and she is the one I painted with the flying horse in the Visionary Portrait section of the web site. The Tree of Life is very prominent and the earthy focus of the outdoor scenery brought in calmness to her and hope for the future (recently divorced). You can’t see the bird flying over the landscape, but it is there and there are other images coming through. Go within the painting and let it give you calmness in this hectic world as it does her. I want to thank her for letting me share this on my web pages, because I know these paintings are very personal to the individuals. And I also want to thank my mother for her encouragement and understanding of how God has blessed me and it has brought us closer together.

There are more examples on the next few pages of Spirit Art Class paintings. Enjoy!
