Foxfire ~ Visionary Portraits
Look over the water wash and what do you see? It took me a few weeks to finally decide what to paint and what not too! She had so much coming through from Spirit in the water wash, that I had to paint over two of her Native American Indian Spirit Guides. That is one reason why I take a photo of just the water wash, so the person can see all that Spirit has brought into them through the Visionary Portrait prior to the finished portrait. The healing energy is still within the painting.
In the reading I saw the sunrise in bright yellow coming up over a very lush deep green forest of trees. Of which, I saw to mean that the deep green and the trees are very healing to her and the sunrise tells me that a new bright day of change is coming her way.
The Brown Horse with the white face appeared up close to me, so it was singled out of the herd of horses I saw in the background. Note: Her husband has horses and he has been trying to get her to work with a brown horse with a white face. I did not know that until she saw the painting. The Mountain Lioness came forward and presented herself as one of her power animals as well.
Later when I did the drumming, before I put the water wash on the canvas these images came through again as well as a White stag, very regal, came out of the forest and the Falcon presented its self.
I did the water wash in Dark Green and Burnt Sienna with a touch of orange. Many images came through…as you can see in the photo of the background, the horse is very prominent, and upper middle is the Mountain. Lioness, just below her is the Falcon…in the upper right is the sunrise…there is an image of Mary with 2 children…in the lower right is a young woman with flowing hair and the back of her body is silhouetted.
All I can say is study the background as well as the painting…I had a hard time trying to decide what to leave alone and what to paint…The horse in the image of the background looks like it has a halter on…she needs to let it loose…free it to the wind and let it fly, she needs to let the horse take her into new journeys and adventures, but with the help of the white stag let it awaken you to the new innocence and gentleness to others as well as to herself. The horns of the white stag will help her connect to her higher self and a higher vibration of intuitiveness. Note: The key is to Ask and Listen to these power animals and all entities that are working with you.
The Mountain Lioness teaches her to use decisiveness in the use of personal power. When it attacks it does not hesitate. When threatened, it goes for the most vulnerable place. The Mt. Lion can teach her how to bring out her power and fill her heart with it in a manner that will enable her to take charge of her life. It teaches her to take charge of her life and her circumstances most effectively. Leap into opportunities quickly and strongly. Stretch her muscles and show her capabilities in all aspects of her life.
The Falcon’s keynotes are Mental Speed, Agility and Grace. Hers is the Peregrine Falcon, but it was not flying, just like her horse was not running. The falcon will teach her how to use her mental faculties more effectively and more patiently to capture what she most needs and desires. It will teach her control of speed and movement and above all else it teaches patience. It will teach her to know when to act, but to fully commit to her actions for the greatest success.
I suggest to her and to all who are reading this, to learn to connect to your power animals and to look into the painting and let it talk to you…It will help you to heal through working with your power animals and your guides.
When she ordered this visionary portrait she also ordered one for her husband which you will find on the next page. I met this woman when she attended one of my Spirit Art Classes.
